Join us in preserving the plant and animal world and become part of our EKO story at Glavotok Camp, where sustainability and care for the planet are at the heart of everyday life. Through various initiatives, we are working together to reduce waste, encourage recycling, and preserve natural resources.<\/p>\n

In addition to numerous ecological initiatives, we are particularly proud of our effort to reduce plastic waste by offering cloth bags. These bags are\u00a0freely available for use during your stay<\/b>\u00a0at the camp. If you wish to take one home as a souvenir from the island of Krk and continue using it, the price for the bag is a symbolic \u20ac3.<\/p>\n

In addition to the cloth bags, our camp offers many other ecological innovations:<\/p>\n

  • Water Purifier<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Our water purifier processes water, which is then used as technical water for irrigation and other activities that do not require drinking water. This helps conserve natural resources and reduce unnecessary consumption of drinking water.<\/li>\n
  • Water Stations<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 At two locations within the camp, we have water stations offering chilled natural and mineral water. These devices provide guests with refreshments while reducing the use of disposable plastic bottles.<\/li>\n
  • Recycling Stations<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 These stations make it easy and fun for guests to recycle packaging, with additional incentives for those who actively participate.<\/li>\n
  • Composter<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 We promote the recycling of organic waste from our kitchens, creating high-quality compost used for our green spaces and gardens.<\/li>\n
  • Solar Panels<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 We are proud of our solar energy system, which significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions and contributes to energy sustainability.<\/li>\n
  • Children\u2019s Playground<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Our new children\u2019s playground is mostly made from natural materials such as acacia wood, aligning with the environment and providing children with a natural play area. The playground is surrounded by walking paths and a Mediterranean garden, creating the perfect place for family fun and relaxation.<\/li>\n
